Meet at Rich Mountain trailhead on Friday for a 10:00 AM rollout going over Rich Mountain to Cade's Cove and Forge Road/Parson's Branch area. We will decide route as we go. If you want a longer route with more climbing, you can start from Townsend greenway parking lot at 9:15 and ride the paved roads to meet us at Rich Mountain trailhead where gravel starts.
No restrooms at trailhead but there are some at Cade's Cove visitor center that we will stop for on the route.
Weather forecast is high 40's at start warming to high 50's. perfect gravel weather. Temperature will be cooler on the mountain.
